Details of Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Courses

Lucy Gurr at work - 1st degree Reiki workshop Hands-on Healing:
This is a comprehensive introductory healing course covering spirituality, self-protection, the aura, the chakra system, hands-on healing techniques, the human anatomy, how to read body language and what your illness means. This course forms the first part of Reiki First Degree.
Duration of course: One day a week for 5½ hours, over a 4 week period. (2 manuals supplied)

Reiki First Degree (incl. Hands-on Healing)
In this part, the student learns about the history of Reiki, how it works, chakra balancing techniques and healing practices. The student will learn the Reiki healing hand positions and receive their first level attunement. Students will then be required to do a single case study to be presented for discussion on the final day of the course.
Duration of course: One day a week for 5½ hours, over a 4 week period. (1 manual supplied)

Reiki Second Degree/Practitioner Level
Janet Thompsett - 2nd degree Reiki Course & Rachel Scriven at work - 1st degree Reiki Course Four case studies are required, in order to enrol on this course. The student is given the Reiki symbols for this level and is then taught how to use these symbols to increase the power of Reiki, self-protection and how to heal emotional issues and change unwanted habits. Once familiar with these symbols and application therof, the student will receive their 2nd degree attunement. Students are taught how to send distant healing. Additional techniques covered are dry bathing, beaming and positive manifestation. Energetic anatomy relating to the chakras is also covered.
Duration of course: One day a week for 5½ hours, over a 3 week period. (1 manual supplied)

Sarah Hemsley at work - 2nd degree course Advanced Reiki
Advanced Reiki is really the preliminary level to the Master Teacher level. It is aimed specifically at active Reiki practitioners with at least 2 years working experience. At this level the student is required to complete 5 case studies each on 2 individual clients. The student will receive the Usui Master attunement which increases the strength of one's Reiki energy and increases the effectiveness of the Reiki second degree symbols. Also included are processes to help you get in touch with your deeply rooted fears so that you can understand how "old behavioural patterns keep you stuck", as well as experiencing the art of loving yourself. The student is taught psychic surgery, how to make and use a crystal grid, as well as goal setting. Through these various processes, the student will also learn how to deal with their intentionality and the essence of who they are. Students who have qualified at this level may then apply to register for Karuna Reiki® Practitioner level one.
Duration of course: A one day compulsory workshop of 5½ hours (students will study (in depth) their selected case studies), followed by a two day course of 5½ hours per day. (1 manual supplied)

Master/Teacher Level
Chris Moreton & Martine Grithiffs working on Tina Cobbold - 1st degree Reiki course This is the "teacher training" level. An attunement of 2 new symbols is given, amplifying the energy in all areas of life. This level empowers the newly attuned Reiki master on their journey towards "self-mastery" and "self-empowerment".
Duration of course: Three days, the first two days running consecutively for 5½ hours, followed by an additional training day. Students intending to qualify for their Master/Teacher certificate will be required to attend a Reiki attunement. (1 manual supplied)
